Transfers

Transfers are issued free of charge when requested by the passengers upon boarding. Your transfer must be used for the next scheduled connection (based upon the time marked on the transfer) at the first point where the routes intersect.

MAT Bus Passes

MAT drivers must be shown your bus pass each time you board the bus.

MAT Half-Fare Program - Base Fare $1.25

Elderly persons (65+) are eligible for the half fare rate of $0.60. Persons with disabilities are eligable for the half fare rate of $0.60. To obtain this fare you must present a valid Medicare card or Connecticut Department of Transporation "Senior/Disabled Reduced-Fare Photo ID Card".
